How are we billed?
How long does it take to price?
This depends on how complex your project is but in general allow around 2-3 weeks. The pricing schedule will be itemised so all costs are transparent at the onset.
Do you do full contract or labour only?
We can offer both full contract or labour only terms.
Do you submit permits to council?
Not usually, but we can advise other people from our network that will be happy to do this for you. We do like to be involved at the beginning if possible.
Can you arrange plans or drawings to be completed?
Yes, we can co-ordinate and liaise meetings with draughtspeople or architects.
How many builders do you have onsite?
This depends on the complexity of the project but can be anywhere between 3-5 on average.
Will you project manage the whole project?
Yes, we manage the whole project once consents are complete and the building work starts. On full contract this means managing and co-ordinating sub-contractors, liasing with architects, council inspections, ordering and supplying materials.
Do we need to find subcontractors ourselves?
No, we can supply all trades.
Can we use a friend or relative to do some of the work?
You can, however we prefer to use our trusted network of subcontractors. This is especially important when co-ordinating work to be completed within a set time frame and to the standards we expect.
Which areas do you work in?
We work all throughout the Auckland Area.
Do you have references available?
Yes, you can see some under our Testimonials page. We have a range of clients who are glad to provide verbal references or you can view our work in photos or in person.
When should I contact you?
If you are in the planning stage we can offer valuable advice regarding timeframes and budgets, otherwise contact us as soon as you can. We will price your project and provide a timeline for the expected completion and start/finish dates.
Do you build new homes?
Yes, we enjoy building new homes with complex design elements as well as more modest homes.
Do you do minor or major alterations?
We can do from minor fit-outs through to major alterations on many levels.
Can you recommend architects or draughtspeople?
Yes, we have built up great contacts with both architects and draughtspeople.
Do you do kitchen alterations or designs?
We don’t design kitchens but have a good working relationship with a kitchen manufacturer that we can recommend.
Are you onsite everyday?
Yes, we usually work from 7:30am through to 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
How are we billed?
This will depend on your project and will be discussed after meeting with Paul. It can be on completion but is often through progress claims as work is completed.
